Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley, where you will have a chance to enjoy breathtaking views of the escarpment before continuing toward Narok, the gateway town to the Masai Mara. After a short break, the drive continues across the picturesque plains until you arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. After settling in and a brief rest, you will set out on your first game drive in the reserve. The afternoon game drive gives you a chance to immerse yourself in the Mara’s rich wildlife. You may encounter elephants roaming the plains, prides of lions resting under the acacia trees, or cheetahs scanning the horizon for prey. As the day winds down, you will witness the golden African sunset over the savannah before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
