Itinerary Detail

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and begin your journey south toward Amboseli National Park. The drive offers beautiful scenery along the way, and upon arrival you will check into your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive, with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, cheetahs, and numerous bird species against the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight will be at your Amboseli accommodation

After an early morning game drive to witness predators and other wildlife before they retreat from the open plains, you will return for breakfast before departing for Lake Naivasha. The journey takes you through Nairobi and offers a chance to stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photos. On arrival in Naivasha, you will have lunch and check in. The afternoon can be spent at leisure or you may opt for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos, fish eagles, and other water birds, and perhaps a guided walk on Crescent Island among giraffes and antelopes. Dinner and overnight will be in Naivasha.

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a famous sanctuary for both black and white rhinos and well known for its flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and other birdlife. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Here you may encounter lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalos, and a wide variety of wildlife. Dinner and overnight will be in Nakuru.

Following breakfast, you will set out for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia County. This remarkable wildlife haven is home to the “Big Five,” the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and the last two northern white rhinos on earth. After checking in and enjoying lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive where you may also encounter Grevy’s zebras, oryx, and other rare species. Dinner and overnight will be at your Ol Pejeta lodge or camp.

You will enjoy a hearty breakfast and later check out and drive back to Nairobi for your onward flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or be dropped at your Nairobi hotel.
