Itinerary Detail
Start the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to encounter predators and grazing animals. Tsavo West is known for its volcanic scenery, lava flows, and rolling hills. After breakfast, visit Mzima Springs, a natural oasis fed by underground streams, where you can watch hippos, crocodiles, and colorful fish through an underwater observation chamber. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation by the pool or gardens. In the evening, embark on another game drive to track down wildlife you may have missed, such as leopards, buffaloes, or hartebeests. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a scenic drive to Amboseli, a park renowned for its vast herds of elephants and the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The journey takes 4–5 hours. On arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out for a game drive across the Amboseli plains, where you’ll have excellent chances to see elephants, wildebeests, lions, cheetahs, and over 400 bird species. If skies are clear, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Africa’s highest mountain. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and Kilimanjaro often appears at its clearest. Return for breakfast and some relaxation. Mid-morning, you may choose to visit a Maasai village (optional, extra charge) to learn about the community’s traditions, dances, and crafts. After lunch, either enjoy another game drive in search of Amboseli’s famed elephants, or spend the day in the park with a picnic lunch, giving you more time to explore its diverse habitats. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and enjoy a tranquil night in the African wilderness.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, passing through scenic farmlands and small towns. On arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy a lakeside lunch. In the afternoon, you may take a boat ride (optional, extra charge) to spot hippos wallowing in the water, numerous bird species, and wildlife grazing along the shores such as giraffes and antelopes. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge by the lake, where you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated reserve and home to the Big Five. The journey takes 5–6 hours with opportunities to enjoy changing landscapes along the way. On arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. In the evening, set out on a game drive across the vast savannahs. The Mara is renowned for its high density of wildlife including lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, and giraffes. Return to your camp for dinner and spend the evening under the dazzling African stars.
Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara with early morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is teeming with wildlife, from large predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs to huge herds of zebras and antelopes. If visiting between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River. Between game drives, enjoy breakfast and lunch at your lodge and take some time to relax. In the evening, embark on a final game drive before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a drive of about 1.5 hours. On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in the park, famous for its flamingos (seasonal), diverse birdlife, and strong population of both black and white rhinos. The park is also home to lions, leopards, and buffalo. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
