7 Days 6 Nights Safari to Samburu, Aberdare, Masai Mara and Naivasha

After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active, exploring Samburu’s varied landscapes of acacia woodlands, riverine forests, and grassy plains. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild or return to the lodge for a meal and short rest. In the afternoon, continue your exploration, possibly spotting elephants along the Ewaso Nyiro River or tracking predators like lions and cheetahs. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Aberdare National Park, a scenic 4–5-hour drive through the beautiful Kenyan highlands. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge—perhaps the famous Ark or Treetops—both known for their elevated viewing decks overlooking waterholes frequented by elephants, buffalo, and even leopards. After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for check-in, lunch, and a short rest before heading out on an evening game drive from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Here, you’ll search for savannah wildlife and perhaps visit a Maasai village to experience local traditions. Masai Mara is famous for its abundance of predators and spectacular landscapes. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve. Enjoy game drives from morning until late afternoon, with a picnic lunch in the wild. The Mara boasts incredible numbers of lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, and zebras. Optional activities include an early morning hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast or a cultural visit to a Maasai village to experience traditional dances, learn about Maasai culture, and see their manyattas. Wake up to an African sunrise and enjoy breakfast before checking out for your drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at your hotel in time for lunch and relax in the peaceful lakeside setting. In the afternoon, you may opt for a boat safari (at extra cost) to spot hippos, a variety of birds, and wildlife like giraffes and antelopes along the shores. You might also see playful colobus monkeys in the acacia trees. Dinner and overnight at your Naivasha lodge.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and driving back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for optional activities in Nairobi before being dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home—bringing your memorable Kenyan safari to an end.
