Itinerary Detail
After breakfast, you will spend the day exploring Amboseli with a picnic lunch to allow for extended game viewing. The park is home to large herds of elephants as well as cheetahs, buffaloes, wildebeests, and abundant birdlife. Clear weather may offer perfect photo opportunities of Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. In the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Following breakfast, you will check out and travel to Lake Naivasha, passing through Nairobi and the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at your lodge or resort in time for lunch. The afternoon may be spent relaxing at your accommodation, or you can opt for a boat ride on the lake to spot hippos and a variety of bird species, along with a possible guided walk on Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight will be in Naivasha.
After breakfast, you will set out for Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive in the reserve, where you may spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests roaming the open savannah. Dinner and overnight will be in the Masai Mara.
You will spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara, carrying a picnic lunch to enjoy in the heart of the reserve. The day will be dedicated to searching for the Big Five and other wildlife, from herds of wildebeests to elusive leopards. Your driver-guide will navigate to different parts of the reserve to maximize your chances of memorable sightings. Dinner and overnight will be in the Masai Mara.
After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for its thriving rhino population, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, and seasonal flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight will be in Nakuru.
After breakfast, you will check out and enjoy a relaxed drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for your onward flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or drop-off at your Nairobi hotel.
