Itinerary Detail
After breakfast, you will spend the entire day on game drives across the reserve. A picnic lunch will be served in the heart of the Mara to maximize your time in the wild. The day will be dedicated to spotting the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with a wide variety of plains game and bird species. Your driver-guide will navigate through different parts of the reserve to give you the best wildlife sightings possible. In the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Following breakfast, you will check out and depart for Lake Naivasha. The journey will take you through the beautiful Rift Valley landscapes. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and check into your lodge or resort. The afternoon can be spent relaxing at your accommodation, or you may choose to enjoy an optional boat ride on the lake to view hippos and a variety of birdlife, as well as a possible guided walk on Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight will be in Naivasha.
After breakfast, you will leave Naivasha and drive towards Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out for a game drive in search of Amboseli’s famous elephants, as well as lions, cheetahs, buffalos, and numerous bird species. On clear days, you can enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating stunning photo opportunities. Dinner and overnight will be at your Amboseli lodge or camp.
You will spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with both morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park offers some of the best opportunities to get close to free-ranging elephants, and you may also see wildebeests, zebras, hyenas, giraffes, and various birds. The dramatic scenery, with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, makes for an unforgettable safari experience. Dinner and overnight will be at your Amboseli accommodation.
Wake up to a hearty breakfast and check out. You will then drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for your onward international flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or drop-off at your Nairobi hotel.
