This 7-day safari combines the excitement of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations with the relaxation of its pristine coastal beaches. Beginning in Nairobi, the journey takes you to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, before continuing to Tsavo East, Kenya’s largest national park famous for its red elephants and wide open landscapes. The adventure concludes with a beach stay in Diani, where the turquoise waters and white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean offer the perfect opportunity to unwind after your safari. Throughout the journey, you will travel in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide, enjoy full-board accommodation during the safari, and experience seamless transfers from the bush to the beach.
Itinerary Detail
After breakfast, you will depart by road for Amboseli National Park, driving through scenic landscapes that showcase rural Kenya. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in Amboseli, where you may encounter elephants, lions, cheetahs, and buffalo, all set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight will be in Amboseli.
Following an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of game drives in Amboseli. The park is celebrated for its free-roaming elephant herds and wide variety of wildlife. Depending on your preference, you may take a morning and afternoon game drive with time to rest at your lodge in between, or a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight will be in Amboseli.
After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey to Tsavo East National Park. Arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, you will then set out on an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is Kenya’s largest park, home to red-dust elephants, lions, giraffes, and an array of bird species. You will return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will check out and drive towards the coast, heading to the tropical paradise of Diani Beach. On arrival, you will check in at your beach resort and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the serene atmosphere of the Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight will be in Diani.
This day is dedicated to relaxation at the beach. You may choose to simply unwind at your resort, swim in the ocean, or take part in optional activities such as snorkeling, a dhow cruise, or an excursion to Wasini Island. Dinner and overnight will be in Diani.
After breakfast, you will check out and transfer to Ukunda Airstrip for a scheduled domestic flight back to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be assisted to connect to your onward international flight.
